As a Colorado photographer who also shoots weddings, I was discussing with our studio manager about the pros and cons of bringing our photography to set up a booth with various wedding expos that come to Denver. I did some research, which included such expos as the Great Wedding Expo and the National Western Bridal Show, and found there to be a great gray area of "no idea" when it came to deciding whether or not to set up shop. I'm curious folks- especially you Denverites! Who here has gone to a bridal show of any kind? Was your goal to get freebies? enter contests? Find vendors and book them? Was this the start or end of your planning? As a vendor- I gots so many questions!
Then I read this and a few other blogs about the subject:

This girl flat out says after three tries, and investing around $6,000 altogether she has booked 0 brides per show and 1 indirect booking through networking at the show. As a vendor- I got to say that those numbers don't flow well for me. But as a bride or groom, will you still attend?
