Mountain Standard is a Colorado-based brand that was founded in Boulder, CO in 2014. They create a range of clothing from base layers to outwear and everything in between. They also produce socks, hats and other mountain accessories to prepare you for any adventure. Their products are made with a specific purpose in mind - to go from city style to mountain grit without have to change clothes. To achieve this, all of their products are made to be durable and useful in the mountains while still have stylish touches that will stand out in a city. For any Coloradan than lives in the city but takes to the mountains during any ounce of spare time, this concept is genius! Their clothes and accessories celebrate the towns, activities, seasons, terrains and people that call the Mountain Standard time zone home. 

During our latest hiking adventure, Rebecca wore the Women's Hooded Down Jacket, the Merino Wool Camp Socks, and the Raven Trucker Hat.

Mountain Standard has changed the game for down jackets. The Hooded Down Jacket is light weight, flexible and incredibly warm. Made with 700-fill goose down, this jacket will keep you nice and toasty on the coldest mountain day, but also has a sleek, fitted and longer fit that it will fit right in on a city sidewalk. The features on this jacket are what really make it stand out. The sleeves include stretchy, spandex cuffs with thumb holes to keep the sleeves in place during adventuring or layering and also seal in warmth. The hood and waist also include adjustable strings for added security and warmth. And finally, the pockets are lined with incredibly soft and warm fleece for instant warming when you put your hands in your pockets! There is also an internal media pocket to keep your phone nice and safe. 

The Merino Wool Camp Socks  are super soft and excellent at keeping your toes toasty while managing moisture, too. With extra padding on the footbed, these socks can take you as far as your legs can for days on end. 

From what we've seen, Mountain Standard can't go wrong with a hat design. On this hike, Rebecca wore her Raven Trucker Hat. The hats in this company's collection are easy to wear, fun to collect, and totally adventure ready!
